KODIAK-H Black micarta brushed blade right-handed sheath

This simplified version of the KODIAK has been created to satisfy a wider audience. Robustness, simplicity, and comfort remain the watchwords of this knife adapted to all types of activities.

The uniqueness of this version lies in the addition of new materials offered for the handle. In addition to black micarta, the KODIAK-H is available with a handle in cocobolo pakkawood, walnut, or horn.

The differences with the KODIAK (see photo):

• Regarding the blade: The KODIAK-H has a streamlined blade without any notches, whereas the blade of the KODIAK also features a nail puller or hook to remove pots from the fire, and a scraping zone for a fire starter has also been provided on the top, near the handle.
• Regarding the rear of the handle: The KODIAK-H has a simple pommel with just a hole to add a lanyard if needed, whereas the rear of the KODIAK is equipped with a hexagonal hole (lanyard passage), a bottle opener and tent peg puller, as well as an anvil with a hammer zone and a nutcracker zone.
• Regarding the handle: The KODIAK does not have a cavity for bow drill fire lighting like the KODIAK-H.

The Kodiak-H is offered with two sheath options, in nylon or black leather, both offering vertical and horizontal belt carry. The removable rear loops of the sheaths facilitate quick removal of the knife to use the hammer or nutcracker functions safely. In the leather model, the loops for horizontal carry are also removable to facilitate placement.

Optional: adding a pocket for storing accessories (fire starter, sharpening stone, etc.) is possible on the front using loops.
